Why any of this exists

Somebody has to answer the call.

I'm a first responder. The job is showing up on the worst day of a stranger's life and being useful anyway. Then the shift ends, and all of it comes home with you.

Hellbox is where it goes. Satire, ink and machinery that can't be bent. I draw what everybody in the room already knows and nobody will say. I build the systems so nobody, including me, can quietly change the rules afterward.

That's the sincere part. It won't happen again.

Hellbox Comix

An underground publishing house. The chain is under the floorboards.

Comics pressed straight onto the chain and owned outright by the reader. The press counts every copy, stamps it, and destroys whatever goes unpressed. No reprints. No revisions. Nothing seized.

Art you can lose. Call a Quad for 0.0004 ETH and its owner has 44 hours to answer, or you take their best color. Leave a Quad unanswered for 444 hours and it dies, and its obituary is written on-chain with the killer's wallet in it.

The dead become furniture.

Seven bodies go into the Pot. Relics, Quitters, any mix. One comes out locked up in iron. It's a vault. It holds what you own and holds it against anyone who comes for it. The quoins are its guardians. Only your key turns them.

Every rule it keeps is type on the plate. Set in iron, readable by anyone.
